There are four opportunities to sit IGCSE, International GCSE, GCE O Level and A-/AS-level examinations every year.

Examinations with Cambridge International Education (CIE) take place in May/June and October/November.

Examinations with Pearson Edexcel take place in January, May/June and October/November
When to register
The two examination boards have different registration dates. Registrations for the October/November 2026 examination series are now open.
Normal registration period closes on 12 August 2026.
Please note: You may be able to register for exams after the registration deadline, but there are additional fees for late registration.
