CIPS qualifications

Throughout the world CIPS qualifications are recognised as the drivers of leading-edge thinking and professionalism in procurement and supply.  You can study CIPS qualifications at either Certificate, Advanced Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Professional Diploma level.  

Exam dates and fees

CIPS holds computer-based exams six times a year in January, March, May, July, September and November. In Zambia paper-based exams are also available — twice per year, in May and November. Visit the CIPS website , choose your country, then select 'Exam dates and fees' and your chosen qualification for more information.

How do I book an exam?

Before you can book an exam you'll need to become a CIPS student member. To check membership fees and join online visit the CIPS website , choose your country, then select 'Membership fees and forms'. Once you've joined all you need to do is log out and in again, and you'll be able to book and pay for your exams online:

•In your CIPS account , go to the dashboard and select 'My exams' and 'Book exams'.

•For computer-based exams choose any of the three timeslots on any day during the exams week. Paper-based exams are timetabled and can also be booked online.

 If you opt to pay for exams or membership through the British Council an extra charge of  8GBP for exams and 11GBP for membership and renewal will apply. Contact customer services for further information.
